Team Head, Wholesale Banking (Ref: TH/MAC/EK)

Key Responsibility

• Drive and implement strategic plan for sales team’s business development;
• Manage, coach and develop the sales team to achieve the agreed annual revenue target;
• Solicit new business from both new and existing clients to achieve the agreed annual revenue target;
• Involve product partners to help cross-sell fee-earning products whenever possible;
• Maintain excellent relationship with designated corporate clients as well as outside entities such as government authorities, other banks, commercial associations etc;
• Review credit applications for credit approval;
• Ensure good risk management of loan exposures under the portfolio and take appropriate action immediately or investigate any early warning signs.

Requirements

• University degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum 8 years corporate banking experience gained in an international banking environment with at least 3 years experience at managerial level;
• Good forward planning skills and result-oriented;
• Strong analytical and good track record in business development of corporate accounts;
• Good interpersonal and people management skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
