As a member of our family-owned business, you are responsible for setting direction, leading and developing your team and driving business performance to ensure that you are exceeding expectations of your customers. As the Store Manager of our Heinemann Duty Free Shop, you will

• Empower your team to use their scope of responsibility to provide customers with an unforgettable shopping experience, turn them into loyal customers and effectively inspire them in the short- and long-term.

• Always be responsive to your customers and your team to ensure sound decision-making and optimal problem solving.

• Mentor, motivate, develop and inform your operations team to promote a trusting and respectful team culture and drive a successful business.

• Constantly keep an eye on performance targets and optimize your resources by the proper scheduling of your staff, control of your overall costs and optimization of inventory flow.

• Regularly create and present performance reports, provide feedback on store, stock and customer requirements and address areas of improvement by challenging status quo and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Innovate and drive initiatives to achieve the next level in terms of customer service and employee satisfaction.

   

What you should bring along

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent as well as several years of practical and leadership experience in sales or in a customer-oriented business, preferably gained in the retail luxury market.  

• Excellent command of English, and ideally, a proficiency in an additional language.

• Conduct befitting a role model and the ability to build trustful relationships with your team, so that they can achieve their targets and make decisions independently in their personal scope of responsibility.

• Entrepreneurial thinking, an interest in innovative solutions and the ability to set, communicate, and drive clear targets for the store.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and a firm grasp of the big picture in managing sales and process workflows to guarantee your store’s performance at all times.

• Openness to work in shift rotations as required by the business.
